Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Participate in teams to identify automation opportunities and draft execution plans.
• Work closely with project leads to monitor, evaluate, and ensure the completion of tasks and projects.
• Involved in strategic planning to accomplish technical and business objectives with the leadership chain, team, and customers.
• Coordinate activities that enforce development improvements, CI (Continuous Integration), and CD (Continuous Deployment).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Proficient in AWS Cloud Services, including Lambda and security.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficient in monitoring and alerting systems using AWS CloudWatch.
• Experienced with GitLab pipelines and advanced features of GitLab.
• Experienced in containerization using Docker.
• Experienced in microservices architecture and its implementation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for AWS services and GitLab pipelines.
• Associate-level certification in AWS is an added advantage.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Hands-on experience in collaborating and supporting developers to resolve DevOps-related issues.
• Hands-on experience with ticketing tools like ServiceNow and project management tools like Azure Boards and Jira.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for projects using GitLab.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement scalable and resilient architectures for on-premises and cloud applications.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), unit testing frameworks, and development methodologies like Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile.
• Experience with software development tools and standards such as coding conventions, best practices, and design patterns.
• Excellent logical/analytical, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively as both a team player and an individual contributor.
• Willingness to work in shifts when required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
